About the Cabin

Creative CabinThe cabin is a completely self-contained studio apartment with amazing sea views where you can get residential software training.

It’s the perfect escape for artists, authors, designers or musicians wishing to retreat from their daily routines and responsibilities. Getting away to an inspirational space like this can enliven creative development and focus attention.

The Studio Area

At one end of the studio is a large work desk for training. There’s wireless internet throughout the cabin and various drawing and painting materials can also be provided.

The Kitchen

The kitchen area has a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave/ oven/grill combi where you can make your own food. Alternatively, home-cooked, organic food can be provided if you prefer. We also cater for all special dietary requirements including vegan and gluten-free diets.

Sleeping Area

A cozy and extremely comfortable queen size bed is at the other end of the studio, complete with luxurious en-suite shower room with under-floor heating.

If you want to chill out there’s a music system to plug your iPod into. There are also plenty of films on DVD. Angie also has an extensive library of books on hand about design, art and creativity to inspire you.

The Garden

There’s private access to the cabin via a front door. There are also french doors leading onto a patio for outside dining/ sunbathing. From here there are stunning panoramic sea views across the English Channel and the South Downs. Guests also have access to their own private woodland garden for exercise, relaxation or meditation.

Getting There

We are situated about 15-20 minutes from Brighton by car, just off the South Coast road (A259). There’s free off road parking here. If you are coming by train you can go to either Brighton or Newhaven station. Taxis or buses are easy from each station but Newhaven is the closest. One of Britains’ most scenic bus routes, The Coaster, stops right at the bottom of our lane. This bus runs from the end of our lane and goes to Brighton in one direction, Eastbourne in the other, passing some of England’s most stunning cliff-top scenery on the way. This eco-friendly double-deck buses run up to every 10 minutes Mondays to Saturdays, every 15 minutes on Sundays. The journey to Brighton Marina takes only 20 minutes or 25 minutes to the shopping lanes in the centre of Brighton. For fun nights out, night buses back to the Cabin from Brighton run till 3.30 am.
